Love that Robin and Puck took the opportunity to light a few candles for their fallen old comrades, and that despite dickhead extraordinaire being here we actually get to see something entirely different about him.

all kidding aside though, this is a lovely page. the stained-glass window is very creative and beautiful-looking. it's the right mix of emotions. and I love seeing that vulnerable side of Gary

Ahhh I've been gone from dA for so long but it's nice to come back and be met with this. Mr. Fuji... always the nicest of guys.
And man, Gary really is a dickhead extroardinaire... it's not fair for you to pull that and make me feel bad for him ;-;

It died off screen early in chapter 1. It's however more implied that he simply switched it with Oak to get a Bulbasaur so he could keep his type-advantage against Robin. (clever twist??!! actually it's just what happens when you're lazy like me and never plans your story)

So your still gonna update on DA? Keep up the great work. Can't remember the Nidoqueen's name but wasn't she leaving? What was the situation in the game? Are you going to stick to what happened in the Nuzlocke or take some artistic license?

DA is great for putting up and storing art so yes, I'll keep uploading them here.
The Nidoqueen's name is Cogito. She was thinking of leaving because she thought they didn't want her around, especially after what she pulled, and she didn't want to drag them into more trouble. But she decided to stay as the rest of the team (most of them) forgave her and wanted her to stay.
I take me some liberties mostly with the pokémon world and story, but sometimes with what happened in the nuzlocke (like for examle, the battles with Giovanni and Surge were way less dramatic in-game).

Ahh right, good she is staying, but what about the new Eevee? Isn't the team full? What inspired Jojo's injury with her wings? Will the story hopefully evolve beyond the normal game storyline (pokemon league, rocket hideout)?

The candle idea and Fujis place acting as both the sanctuary and the graveyard (i'm assuming?) is a really neat idea. Not to mention the candle thing. Is that a real world ritual? Anyway, this page is really beautiful as per usual. Amazing job.

It is a real world ritual, at least where I am from. I know nothing of japanese religion, rituals or traditions (which I think the pokémon tower is based on??), so I've just taken stuff from stuff I'm familiar with.
