Description There are Other Sailor Soldiers – Fight at the Hotel

The hotel guests were running everywhere, trying to escape what they could not see.  The Christmas lights were dim, gone, or destroyed.  Zephyrus stopped.  She didn't want to run into a fight she couldn't win, or into an enemy she couldn't see.

"World Shaking!"

"Deep Submerge!"

The two attacks hit an unseen target, and suddenly, the area was brighter.  Zephyrus heard an unholy howl, and caught the monster's last moments.  The hotel floodlights finally flashed on.  Two women appeared in the spotlight on top of the gazebo, dressed in sailor outfits similar to Sailor Mene's, except they had puffy sleeves and long gloves.

"Appearing elegantly, Soldier of the Sky, Eternal Sailor Uranus!"

"Appearing gracefully, Soldier of the Ocean, Eternal Sailor Neptune!"

The two soldiers leapt down from gazebo, landing right in front of six other monsters.  The blonde sailor warrior, Sailor Uranus, pulled out a short, scimitar like sword.  The one with aqua hair also pulled something out, although Zephyrus couldn't quite make out what it was. They were concerned with the six monsters staring them in the face, and didn't notice the smaller seventh one coming up behind them.  Just before it could jump, Zephyrus aimed very carefully and cried "Razor Rain!"

When the attack hit the monster in the subzero temperatures, it froze in midair, completely encased in ice.  The weight of the monster caused it to tip over and shatter.  Flying ice shards caught the attention of Neptune and Uranus.  The two leapt in unity, landing on either side of Zephyrus, flanking her effectively.

"You must be the senshi that we sensed in the area," Neptune said, keeping a watchful eye on the six remaining monsters.

Uranus sent a wave of energy shooting out from her sword before she asked, "Who are you?  You don't work with us."

"I don't.  I work for someone else," Zephyrus replied.  She wished that the two hadn't wasted their time moving and talking to her.  It gave the monsters time to regroup and re-circle the trio.  "I am the Soldier of the West Wind, Sailor Zephyrus.  My goal is to stop Chaos from achieving its means."  Zephyrus didn't quite trust the two, so she neglected to mention Sailor Mene and the silver starseed.

Uranus looked like she was going to say something else when one of the monsters shot purple venom out of its mouth.  Neptune and Zephyrus reacted at the exact same time.

"Deep Submerge!"

"Razor Rain!"

When the water hit the flying poison, the flow of the attack changed, and barrelled back into the monster.  Once again, the water froze on contact and the monster's own weight caused it to fall and shatter.

"I like the affect the weather has on my attacks here, Uranus," Neptune murmured elegantly.  Zephyrus noticed the two had slight Japanese accents, but couldn't quite make the connection to why the two seemed familiar.

"I am glad you enjoy it, Neptune, because I am starting to freeze."  Uranus lowered herself into a fighting pose.  Zephyrus wondered if she was going to physically attack the rest of the monsters.  However, that didn't appear to be her plan.

"Do you have an attack more powerful than your rain attack?" Uranus asked, giving Zephyrus a hard look.  Zephyrus just nodded.  She began to pull wind energy towards her, although noticed a slight tug of opposing energy from her left, where Uranus crouched.  Believing Uranus's powers were earth based, Zephyrus was surprised to be sharing the wind element.  Regardless, Zephyrus prepared for whatever the other sailor soldier had in mind.

"Ready Neptune," Uranus asked, not breaking her gaze from the every encircling monsters.

"Time to obliterate youma," Neptune agreed, quite contrary to her soft spoken voice and elegant demenour.  A violin materialised out of nowhere in her hands.

"Space Turbulence!"

"Submarine Violin Tide!"

"Gale Force!"

With a tremendous blast of energy, the three attacks combined.  The Space Turbulence and Gale Force combined into one swirl, encircling Neptune's Submarine Tide.  As it spun around the circle of monsters, Zephyrus was reminded of a hurricane and wished she had that magnitude of power all the time.  The power of the combined attack was awe inspiring as it destroyed all five remaining monsters.

"Well, now that that is over with," Uranus said, pulling herself upright and taking a step back from Sailor Zephyrus, "who are you exactly.  We are all here to stop Chaos, but what is your mission really?  Are you like the Starlights?"

"Starlights?" Zephyrus asked, shaking her head so her frizzy hair bounced.  "I am no Starlight, and the only star light I know of is the stuff shining above our heads right now."

"Uranus, just leave it alone.  I'm sure this doesn't even concern us, or our princess.  It's almost on the other side of the world," Neptune tried to reason with her taller counterpart.  Personally, Zephyrus just wanted them to leave.  The battle was over, and Sailor Uranus was getting far too nosy for her own good.  And unless they were going to help her find Sailor Mene, they could go back to wherever they came from.  She didn't need any distractions or interruptions in her mission.  The two purple-haired siblings and their monsters seemed to provide enough of that.

"Yeah, but if they get what they want here, what is to say that they won't come looking for our princess.  She is just one senshi.  How is she supposed to deal with all of this by herself?" Uranus asked.  She looked Zephyrus up and down, appraising her.  Not appreciated being evaluated like a hunk of meat, Zephyrus crossed her arms.

"I've been doing pretty well on my own, thank you," Zephyrus shot back.  "I believed I saved your asses about five minutes ago."

"I would have had it if you hadn't interfered," Uranus retaliated once again.  She took a step towards the local soldier.  "I'm sure we could have a test of strength right now."  Clenched tightly in her right hand was that formidable looking scimitar.

"Oh, yes, that would be entertaining," another voice drifted in from the darkness.  Uranus and Neptune reacted quickly, startled by the sudden appearance of another enemy.  Zephyrus wasn't quite so surprised.  She expected Ame or Thyst to show up sometime after such a large gathering of monsters.  It was Ame who stepped out into the courtyard, the Christmas lights reflecting eerily off her purple hair.

"Who are you?" Uranus demanded.

"And what do you want?" Neptune asked a little more politely.  Zephyrus couldn't believe those two?  What was with them and all the bossy questions?  This wasn't even their territory.

"That is none of your business," Ame answered, her face broken in two by an evil smirk.  Although the woman was an enemy, Zephyrus almost liked her at that moment.  Uranus and Neptune both looked taken aback.  "But I do know who you are.  You are the delectable little starseeds I sent my monsters to retrieve.  Oh, and the pest my brother still hasn't gotten rid of," she said, turning her malice-purple eyes on Zephyrus.

"Hi, Ame.  Do we have to do this again?" Zephyrus quipped.  "I believe I've pushed you out a window."

"I still have to thank you for that," Ame answered. She brought her hands up to her chest, twisting them a few times to gather dark energy in her palms.  However, the two foreign senshi were quicker and took advantage of Ame's distraction.

"Space Turbulence!"

"Submarine Violin Tide!"

The colossal attack combined again into something hurricane like. Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough.  Ame directed her dark energy into the swirling mass barrelling towards her, dissipating it in its path, although just barely.

"I will have all your starseeds!" Ame cried.  She pulled a purple crystal out of a pocket in her black mini-dress.

"Galaxia?!" Uranus and Neptune gasped together.

"No, Garon.  The all powerful being in the entire universe!" Ame smiled, her crystal glowing brighter and brighter.  Not having any time to react, Zephyrus didn't even think.

"RAZOR RAIN!" she cried, aiming for Ame's hands.  The attack was dead on.  Once again, the winter air did its work.  Although she saved her hands from being frozen, Ame couldn't save her crystal.  It was encased in ice, and just like the monsters, shattered into a million pieces when it hit the ground.

Ame turned to Zephyrus, murder in her eyes.  "I will get you for that."  The air around the woman shimmered, and she was gone.

"And that is what I am trying to stop," Zephyrus quipped to Uranus, finally letting herself relax.  She rubbed her forehead in both exhaustion and exasperation.  "So you can either stay and help me, or get out of my way."

Uranus and Neptune exchanged a look.  "This isn't our fight," Neptune spoke for the duo.  "You won't have us bothering you anymore."

Like usual, the two jumped in complete unison, and disappeared into the depths of the night.  Glad to be rid of the two, Zephyrus shook her head.  A split second later she whacked herself in the forehead with her left hand.  She let them get away without getting any more information on other sailor soldiers or starseeds.  What kind of idiot was she?

Thank you Yeah, you should read the earlier chapters. You don't really understand Chapter Nine without reading the other ones.
