Just a wee map.

Inspired the alternate history book of the same name by Jake Page, but not based on it. I'm assuming an earlier POD with a later Pueblo revolt leading the Navajo to do some empire-building, so by the time the US shows there's a proto-state in place to discourage white settlement and ally with the US against the Comanche. Also, independent California so the US lacks incentive to push west right through Apache land, which is mostly undesirable-looking from an American perspective anyway. (The US does have Pacific access through *Oregon territory).
