Well, for a post-Global Nuclear War world, it is remarkably not too far down the crapper... But still not a place I'd live if I had any choice in the matter.

Hey, I know this is my second comment on the same request/suggestions. But have you ever played any of the Fallout game? Or at least recognize them? The franchise takes place in an alternate universe where several major events happens where in ours don't, this events lead into a diverging universe that different from us and this events culminate in a 2 hours nuclear exchange between USA and China, alongside other major countries such as European Commonwealth (this universe version of European Union and USSR(it didn't collapse) resulting most of cities destroyed, humanity takes a back, and Earth's biosphere change drastically. The franchise focuses on various cities in USA years after the war and never clearly explain what happened to other countries. It would be interestin to see your thoughts on that. What happen to other countries? What society and cities may rise from the ashes of the war?
