Description
In late November of 2014, I closed on buying my first house. It was a whirlwind of an adventure, and all throughout December my family and I worked on fixing it up (the old carpet badly needed to come up and there were a few small alterations and tons of painting and such that needed to happen). So, when I moved in on the first of the year, my first feelings were that I couldn't wait to photograph somebody in it! It sounds silly, but after you finish on such a journey, you feel the need to share it with your friends right away! Brooke was down for winter break, so Kaylin and I photographed her throughout the house and outside of it, even though everything wasn't exactly finished. It's changed quite a bit since January (I can't believe it's already June!), but let me welcome you in a photographic way to my "Home Sweet Home."
