When I saw the poster for this I thought that limbs would go flying, the ground would be painted in blood, and their skin would be so scarred and their faces so disfigured that they wouldn't be recognizable as themselves anymore...I dunno my idea of a fight is more brutal and violent than pinning your opponent down in the mud.

Fights like this are a test of strength, though. Female alphas have to be prepared to keep the other females in check at all times. So winning this fight doesn't guarantee clear skies. Weapons are for weaklings anyway.

I guess proper young draconic ladies don't go at it with fag and claw? But this looks good. I cam imagine Garble off to the side cheering while being smart enough not to mention any names just in case the other one wins.

He actually breaks them up after watching a few moments of the fight.Β brawls like this usually start without teeth and claws, but can escalate quickly if the wrong thing is said or done. Garble'sΒ in charge of the teens in this crater and so it's his job to keep them in line. His ego does get inflated by theΒ situation.

True. I imagine species that pack lethal weaponry in the form of fangs and claws quickly learn when and more importantly when NOT to use them on each other. That or they tend to not be very social (I.e., like say, tigers or leopards).
