Sketches from the past... month or so, and dug up just to clutter your in-box. X3 How speeeshul. Not really.

1. Playing around in Art Club. I thought it was interest how parts of the human body seemed to be divided into threes, like three joints on a finger, three parts of an arm (upper, lower, hand), three parts of a leg, and decided to substitute fingers with legs for fun. Own hand partial reference.

2. Uhm, I like .5 red lead. A bunch. This started out as a red lead sketch, then I started going over it. I mean, you could do the same thing with a colored pencil, but it would dull and you'd have to sharpen it and that's time-consuming, which I don't like for concepts and drafts. So mechanical pencils and red lead for the win. I like this one, although I really know nothing of armor. ._. Still like it.

3. One assignment in Art was to do a linoleum carving to be printed. It's a really, really good idea to have a strong light-source for that. This is the second draft of the second concept that I sketched out, because Curs'd wasn't getting enough art-love, so. Yeah. (I went with the first concept, in case anyone is wondering.)

4. Caption the Image: "You did -not- just do that". Konar + Aysel + batter = this. X3 I was bored in Latin, and decided to continue a rather odd train of thought I'd had while using a mixer for cake batter. Long story short, it ends with Konar getting a new hat from his lover. Which is filled with batter both squishy and delicious. Argh, I need to figure out his right arm.

5. Continuing from 4 (I lied when I said it ends), a mock chase/fight ensues, leading to a very worried little Melyss (their daughter, who isn't yet old enough to understand that 'angry-sounding Mummy and Daddy' doesn't have to mean 'actually angry Mummy and Daddy' ), and a rather exasperated elder brother being sent out with the message "Melly says to stop fighting and she's hungry, and can you pass me a cup? You're in the way of the cabinets". (He was thirsty anyway.) Messed up on the nose and on his neck, but the vaguely irritated pre-/early teen 'Oh gawd, you dolts' look made me laugh.

And... yep. Tha's it. Last day of school = today = wicked awesome.
