LSP pen case (more or less) I decided on the face she makes in the very first episode when she gets a phonecall about promcoming.there's a dividing layer inside to split your colours from your liners, or what have you, and I made it a bit too short for pencils so you don't have to dig down for stumpy pens.
felt and cross stitch yarn.
Lumpy Space Princess is an Adventure Time char who belongs to Pendleton Ward.

the lighting was really dappled in this shot, but I think you get the gist. Also her star is made from polkadot minky.

there's one in april. I'm wondering how I feel about making money from someone else's work like that. just because everyone else is selling fan art doesn't make it ethical. on the other hand, its fun and profitable.

Honestly there's nothing really wrong with fan art, it's basically fan service which a lot of illustration artists are known to do when starting out. I myself have started doing some bits of fan art in order to attract more people to my page and know my work; of coarse if you feel more comfortable with doing just original works that also can work out as well.
I just find as long as you don't consume yourself with making nothing but complete fan art, then its not like you'll only be appreciated for it. Just try a healthy balance of original/fan, and go to cons with themes of fan art you know a lot of people will go crazy for (such as adventure time)!
Eventually people will know more and more about you to the point where you could post anything or sell anything and they'd love it just because they know it's from you, but this is just my perspective so feel free to take what you want from it.

I don't mind anyone making it, or using it to drum up exposure, I just feel off about selling it, particularly in quantity.
