Zombie group shot of the gesso backed pieces from this series.A digital traditional mixed media participation mashup project. 2009
Based around people's ideas of zombies, each subject physically describes them in different ways creating a sort of zombie alphabet.
Inspired mostly by the book "World War Z" and the reemerging zombie fascination. The zombie theme embodies people's fear of pandemic disease, death, war, being attacked, and the supernatural.

that comes from. the transfers not sticking completely, the greys fall apart more than the blacks.

love the idea of the windows/frames. I also loved World War Z and I'm usually anti-zombie. Something about their slow shuffliness gets to me. Mummies have the same problem. I'm good with any other beasties.

I'm all for the return of the slow zombies. fast zombies are damn creepy, and slightly less realistic.
