This is my first drawing of an eye and my first ever post on Deviant ART! Please tell me what you think and give me some c/c for next timeRelated content

This is really good, especially for a first drawing!! The overall shape and upper eyelashes especially are really great, and there's some nice lighting and shadows in the iris.
For crit, I'd say the iris (and pupil, to a lesser extent) is slightly misshapen - not round enough - but then again getting circles to work is hard. If there's shading in the iris, there should be in the white too, but aside from that it's fine, I think. A very impressive first post, you're startng well
