Twilight Sparkle utilizing a defensive spell to cast a magic shield to protect from incoming arrows.Contego Presidium should be Latin for "Shield Protection", there was a bit of discussion on accurate use of Latin grammars on the wikia for the Where The World Ends fan-fic universe by .

NOTE: Latin is Old Equestrian, the ancient and dead language of the Equines in WTWE.
Also, Twi seems to be casting an offensive spell, conjuring magical blades at the same time. Not sure if a maigic user (provided to be as talented as Twilight) can cast both types of spell at the same time.

Well, I guess the magic blades are made of the same hardened magic as the shield, so twilight propably could do both.
