Excellent Job. I only have two things I might think about modifying: 1) the tail seems extremely broad for a fast moving comet/meteor/meteorite - maybe narrow the tail, add some blur, ?? give it a better sense of speed; 2) there isn't a perspective - is it coming towards the viewer, or has it passed overhead to land on some other poor sap?
Just my 2p.

I love your use of greys/blues in this one. So man put "the end" as a big, bright, fiery thing, that you kind of lose the desimation type feel.

i only use terragen for water and ground...anything else is made by PS7
