Here's how I drew zeref.. ^^ hope it could help you..I'm sorry this is my first time to do something like this so it's not perfect..and I think it was too simple^^ so If you still have questions feel free to comment^^
I know I'm still not that good.. but to help those who were asking me.. I came up with this..^^
materials used:
rotring mechanical pencil 0.5
5b faber castell
paint brush
kneaded eraser
cotton bud

yes^^ just a paint brush with no water^^that's why I shade so dark so it would be easier to blend^^

It's just that, I have never used cotton on the shadings, that was a really good idea to get away those pencil marks ^^

yeah you should try it^^ you could also use tissue^^ for some they use tortillon^^
