"You know you are too drunk when you start shaping weird things out of chessmen", Erik said and smiled to Charles.
"Groovy", Charles replied immediately and laughed so that the wine spilled over. "Oops", he said and smiled again at Erik.
Haha, just an "introduction", it is not actually an extract from any fanfic. Too bad. And again, I just wanted to draw something out of them two, they are so freaking adorable.
Charles and Erik are drawn with ink and Copic markers, background with GIMP2.

Well, not really liquid, Erik just controls it by will to shape the heart, so it doesn't matter that it is solid.
And there goes the chessmen, wonder with what they are going to play their next game. Hope Charles' has an extra set.

I still have problem with their necks, but else than that, really cool.
I especially like the background trick with light. It's a classic and fits these two well.

Well, the tapestry is supposed to look fancy and classy, since they are in Charles' mansion.. Would be odd to have blank walls in there. Good thing that I succeed.

I prefer the book. Anyway, Lecter ate the census taker's liver with fava beans and Chianti, not because they are high-class foods, but because both are very rich in iron. Iron interacts with certain forms of psychiatric medication. That scene was basically an elaborate "off his meds" joke.
