Because Pixiv decided tomorrow is Fritz/Prussia day.YEAH so it's rushed and filted to all hell and has those cheap white glowy things going on, but I wanted to get it uploaded today rather than tomorrow and I'm tired and want my goddamn dinner and like hell I'd miss out on drawing something for one of my favourite pairings.
Now go forth yourselves and draw Fritz/Prussia. You know you want to.

"Old Fritz" or "Frederick the Great" was the king of Prussia. One of the best kings I heard. Prussia, in Hetalia, adores him.

Omg, I don't thing it's a judicious choice. 11.11. is the National Independence Day of Poland after the Partitions. And Fritz was the one who first came out with the Idea of destroying Poland. For me it's some kind of a bad taste joke

True, though it was intentionally done with that event in mind - it actually has to do with the Japanese snack food 'Pretz' which for some reason has the 11/11 dedicated to it.

If I'm not mistaken (and I could be completely wrong here), I think it has something to do with "Pretz" - a pocky like snack which (apparently) sounds like a pairing name for Fritz/Prussia. How the date fits in, I'm really not sure, but I think it has some connection to this. There's usually a (proportionally) large amount of art based around Fritz and Prussia eating pretz in pictures done for the event.
