Another Iceland pic. Taken on the way to Drangsnes. A church in the middle of nowhere. Not the only one. I really enjoyed the ocean, the wind, the loneliness.Related content

ich finds kompositorisch gesehen eigtl. recht gut. weil als halb - halb würd ichs eigtl. nicht sehen. der himmel, bzw. die horizontlinie nimmt schon mehr als die haelfte des bildes ein. auch die inkludierung des vordergrunds mit den doch recht prallen farben ist gut gelungen. war die kleine pause definitiv wert, hm?

the available light is perfectly captured, creating lively, vibrant colours on the meadows, the sea and the church's roofs.
the focus is quite fine as well, giving a sense for the vastness of this country. you luckily caught these three birds with your shot:
they somehow function as the rather distracting part in your image, disturbin' the quiet scenery. if these birds were missing,
your photograph had been closer to the cliché. like this, it's good stuff. the only minor 
I think you should've tried not to divide the photo into one half of ground and one half of sky. this somehow seems like you
had been indecisive while thinking about the shot. the sky ain't that interesting, maybe two thirds of ground (& sea) would've been better here.
anyway: pretty good shot. I guess I should feature this thing in my next journal.
