Hey there! I'm here for comment tag from ProjectComment and my word was Winter, which brought me to this beauty, mainly due to holiday collar she's wearing
The first thing that catches me with this picture is her hair. You've done a great job with it! I've looked through some of your older stuff and I can see a big improvement over time with hair and this one shines through. The highlights of the pink strands over the dark really gives it lots of dimension and depth. Also the opacity of the feathers is a nice touch, being able to see the hair just slightly through the feathers.
Another thing I love is just the overall composition. Her pose is very striking and strong. She seems ready to face down anything.
I like the strong highlights on her nose and forehead, but that light source's position is a little hard to decipher because of the shadows along the edge of her lips and chin. From a distance, that shadow looks a bit more like an outline than a shadow because of the highlights on her nose and forehead.
One other thing that stood out to me a little is the ear seems to be like a sticker in her hair. You've got good form to other shapes in the picture but it feels like the ear is maybe missing some shadows that it would cast on the feather tucked behind or something. Same with where the feathers tuck into the hair, maybe just a little more shading to show that the feathers are in the hair and not pasted on.
These are minor things and I wouldn't really expect you to go back and change, just some thoughts and stuff you can keep in mind going forward. All in all, your artwork is beautiful and this piece, in particular, is very striking.

I still have a bit of a problem with light sources, yeah, since my mind wanders off as I shade different parts of the picture. So things based around that tend to be a bit wonky every now and then. I did't notice all of the mistakes that you pointed out though, so it really helps to get the fresh pair of eyes!
