I love all the genres of Fall Out Boy, but I really do like their old stuff like Take This To Your Grave and From Under The Cork Tree... I saw them in concert and they were pretty damn good.

Nahh I love their new stuff just as much as their old stuff :3 I'll support them til the end. They're not here to please others they're here to please themselves by making the music they love.

I miss old Fall Out BoyΒ so much! Their new stuff is great, but their old stuff was classic FOB and just drop dead INCREDIBLE, EPIC, and AWESOME! Take This To Your Grave and Folie Γ Deux are my favorite albums by them, and From Under The Cork Tree and Infinity On High come in a VERY close second for me. Oh yeah, and Save Rock And Roll and American Beauty/American Psycho are different but still really good, and are tied for a close third favorite. For me, their best songs are Grand Theft Autumn/Where is Your Boy, Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things To Do Today, Sugar We're Goin Down, Dance Dance, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, This Ain't A Scene It's an Arms Race, Bang the Doldrums, The Take Over The Breaks Over, I Don't Care, and What a Catch Donnie. But FOB is still FOB, no matter their old stuff or new stuff, and I still love them.

I discovered them last year but my favorite song of theirs is from their Under the Cork Tree album *flails*

For me it's the Infinity On High era...
You do not know how much I want them to do a concertΒ of solely the songs on that album,Β but with their current sound. That would be amazing.

I actually liked Infinity on High- It's the newest album that totally didn't sound like them -_- The one with the French title I can never spell right. It's like they totally changed thier sound, trying to be more pop/hip hop because kids liked that sort of music. Like they were changing because thy=ey wanted those people to like them, like they totally droped thier old tune ;-;

Honestly, I will always love the band and right now, I just hope they get back together soon. The reason why they have the song "The takeover, the Break's Over" is because too many of their fans kept complaining how they didn't like their new sound. They can't help but change and I'm a little shocked a fan would actually make something like that. Fall Out Boy is just that- Fall Out Boy; They're amazing and have great sound, even if they change a little through out it.

Their is no old fall out boy, all bands change their styles, i just miss them now that their gone, true fall out boy fans will love the forever. Period.

On that note, I agreed with you and then I remembered how I made a stamp that more or less sad "I prefer the old Avril Lavigne" and I suddenly felt hypocritical. It's just, at least with Avril, I preferred that punk style over her new stuff. And as another example, Disturbed is a band that has long been my number oneΒ favorite and while I slowly recognized each album had changes to it, I never complained because it was my favorite band of all time. Then there's Volbeat, my second favorite, I know (or may it's just like...) almost every song they have and I hear no changes whatsoever. I suppose the same could be the same for Dragonforce but I think they changed lead singers so... kinda can't mention them xD but yeah, with most artists/bands, a distinct sound is what makes them great up until they change it. as far as FoB goes? I wasn't a hardcore fan but I did notice the change, hence why I probably wasn't all that disappointed. I don't mind either way

I must agree... And I'm a rabid Fall Out Boy fangirl... I mean, I like the new albums, and I have favorite songs from them, but, I just miss the old albums. Take This To Your Grave, and From Under The Cork Tree. Come backk!!

When I heard dead on arrival on the rado I was its nice put me in a good mood. Then From under the cork tree and I fell in loooove. And when infinity on high came out I was liek: What the hell is this!? And folie a deux and I was liek better better.

YES YES EXACTLY!! I mean I like the new stuff but the old was GENIUS. Rougher, gritter... perfect! TTTYG and FUTCT were awesome, and I listen to those albums more than FD and IOH. ;_;

Your not a true fan if you only love one or two of their albums. Bands change and so do their music. They have a new style. So, what love them for it. Love them for adapting to the changes and they understand they'll lose fans but they know the true fans will be there through thick and thin.

You are right, I'm not a fan. Of course, bands change, and they can improve or get worse, depending on everyones opinion. So, my opinion is that now they are just a semi-cool bunch of freaks who think that playing rock music is pseudonym of fashion.

I agree. Everyone is constantly changing... which can be good for some, and bad for others. And I'm not saying Fall Out Boy is a bad band now. Im just saying I don't like them anymore.

I have to agree. Artists change throughout time - it's the way it has always been. I love all of Fall Out Boy's cds, have all of them, even EPs. I can't deny it - I need them without a doubt!
