So many times on FireRed, I would go through Mt. Moon and into the Paras caves. I taught my Ratata thief, and I collected tiny mushrooms from these guys. Idk why, I was bored!

Hahaha I had a whole bunch of pictures of crabs/cicadas/arachnids/mushrooms/etc open in various windows while I was doing the initial sketch, that's how I usually work with references though.

Love those eyes. They look as if they've come straight off a praying mantis. And those claws, which look right from a louse. And those wonderful, freaky mushrooms! This thing is real great.

Awwww I love it! I never thought much about Paras until that episode "The Problem with Paras." And after that I thought it was the cutest thing ever! I love the mushrooms on its back

When you look closely at is (as this picture allows), you realize... those little buggers are WEIRD.
Love the texture and the detail though. Kinda makes me want a Paras in some twisted way... Those mushrooms are creepy.
