Description
Another pic for my friend's story, and guess what? It's another danger scene with monsters! Which is all I've wanted to draw lately. xD
Anyway, this is a scene from her story after Snap gets wrongfully arrested and put in a jail with hostile Zoners...and things quickly go wrong.
The chapter titles of the story are all based on colors, and this one was Quicksilver, one of my favorite chapters.

Wow, you're doing a lot of ChalkZone pics these days!Β
I too would love to commission a danger scene, if you're up for it!
On chapter 12 now. I thought having Rudy and Penny lose the magic chalk and be forced to actually survive lost in the chalk world was a unique idea! A sort of original variation on "lost in the wilderness" stories.

I've so far watched almost every episode of the cartoon except the last set. It's a shame that the cartoon ended just when things were getting very interesting! Season 4 is the most imaginative season by far, I think. And it sets up Terry and Vinnie as capable villains with a lot of potential.
What kind of picture was I thinking of? I guess it's a sort of "danger scene with monsters", but in this case, a monster specifically sent to go after Rudy and Penny is trying to get them - a creature with tank-like wheels and extendable arms, and it's grabbed at least one of them.

I think that Terry and Vinnie would be great villains if only they were used more!
And yeah, a robot-type creature, could be part biological, but clearly created for a specific purpose, so that's why it's such a chimera.
And, this will sound like I'm making this up, but I swear this happened: I had a ChalkZone semi-dream. I mean, a vivid daydream, but I was so tired that I could keep the story going, and yet awake enough to have some control over shaping it.Β
Here goes:
-----
In this daydream, the kids were in class, when suddenly a portal opened on the chalkboard, and Skrawl came out. He said that he was after Rudy Tabootie for his attempts to stop his plans in the past, and went straight after him, but then noticed his classmate Michelle, who had helped create Skrawl by vandalizing one of Rudy's drawings of him. Skrawl went on to grab Michelle and lift her up in the air, and Rudy demanded he let her go, or else Rudy would spray Skrawl with water from a water bottle. Skrawl changed his attack to be aimed at Rudy instead, and Penny shouted for everyone to grab water bottles and spray Skrawl, while Mr. Wilter is bewildered at this "car-toooooon" that entered his classroom and is attacking his students.
The kids spray Skrawl and destroy him, and since Rudy and Penny knew exactly what was going on and what to do, everyone looks to them for an explanation. As Rudy and Penny always wanted to keep the chalk world a secret for fear that people entering as tourists would result in the place being ruined, as people make changes to it and treat it like a big toy rather than a place where people live and work, Rudy and Penny are not happy about having to explain what's going on, but they do. They explain how there is a world of chalk, and they can enter it with magic chalk. But one thing that baffles and unsettles them: how did Skrawl enter the real world, if only real world humans can use magic chalk? They get their answer when another portal opens up, and the voice of their guidance counselor (an OC) comes out of it and says that he hates kids, and thought Rudy and Penny were always selfish for wanting to keep this amazing world a secret for themselves. Rudy demands to know why the guidance counselor would team up with Skrawl, and the guidance counselor says that Rudy always seemed to care more about this chalk world than about real people (not true!), and he pops his head out of the portal with a gun made out of chalk, and everyone freaks out as he shoots and hits no-one. The portal gets erased (I forget by who - Mr. Wilter maybe?).
Rudy says that everyone needs to stop him, as the other kids think he's crazy for doing this, and he draws another portal and enters the world. Everyone comes in after him for some reason, but the guidance counselor is gone. Somehow, they then learn that a dragon is in the school playground, breathing fire. Something that can't be ignored by people in the real world, and which would attract the attention of Terry Bouffant, and result in her coming to the school, reporting on the dragon, and proving the chalk world is real. The guidance counselor then shows up, wearing armor that he drew on himself and wielding a sword. Penny quickly gets an idea, and draws a can of rust to use on him to spray his armor so it's stuck and he is unable to move.Β She then knocks him to the ground, and Rudy draws chains around him that attach to padlocks in the ground to hold him down.
They enter the real world, and the fire department has started spraying water on the fire caused by the dragon, and the dragon itself, melting it. Terry Bouffant and Vinnie Raton burst into the school after Terry cuts her news report short despite the action still going on, and Terry demands Rudy show the magic chalk. I don't remember the details about what happened next; it's like trying to remember a dream, even though I was awake-but-tired at the time.

I wish I did, honestly. I don't remember most of my dreams, maybe once a month on average, and almost never have dreams about shows. My dream log confirms that. Almost never have I had any dreams that feel like I'm watching a show.
But then, that was a daydream, so I had some control over it and yet it was as vivid as a dream, which is like the best of both worlds. Since when I lucid dream, I still can't control it! When I have a dream that I realize is a dream, it still continues to not make sense and do its own thing!

Yeah. I wish I could trigger it at will. I'm surprised that I actually once had a dream where I suddenly realized it was a dream, but still couldn't control it despite knowing that.
I do type up my dreams if I remember them, but I remember so few.

Here's my dream log:Β docs.google.com/document/d/1haβ¦
It's not great because there are such large gaps inbetween dreams that I remember, but there are at least some real interesting ones in there.

You have ones based on ChalkZone or other cartoons much?

I wish I had dreams that I remembered more often, or that they were based on media more! I had a bunch of dreams inspired by Silent Hill 3 (none are in the dream log; that is from later), but not much since then that's inspired by shows/games/movies.
Btw, I commissioned someone to write a ChalkZone story for me, and the first chapter came in, and it's great!

I wish I did have those kinds of dreams! And that they involved fiction as well. The only time something fictional combined with the real world for me was Bugs Bunny existing in real life and complaining about how he was no longer relevant.
I'd really like to commission illustrations to go with the fanfic I've commissioned. Maybe one per chapter or something, even if the first chapter was mostly setup. To add something to it.
I'm on chapter 18 of Cryptic Investigation. Yeah, I've been slow with it, I realize!
