GrathGrathyen is a desert cat who previously had his heart taken away from him by Kebechet, in order to teach him a lesson for his previous sins. Grath was old and soon to die and a disguised wandering Kebechet caught him when he accidently murdered a man over stolen gold. Kebechet told him that when he dies, he was doomed to be consumed by Ammit as his heart was weighed with so many sins. He begged her for salvation therefore she restored him to his youth, took his heart and hid it away. He was ordered to not only find his heart, but repent and perform enough good deeds to allow his heart to be repented of sin and allow him passageway to the afterlife.
He also doesn't realise his heart was never taken, in essence it is metaphorical and he needs to learn to care about another more than he does himself, all whilst proving himself decent by doing good deeds. Grathyen is currently in the midst of performing his many deeds, he is timeless, and at present guarding the many tombs still hidden in the Valley of the Kings.

Some of you will remember Grathyen, others will not.
This was a nice break into drawing again. Little to say I am no longer going to pressure myself with clean lines as I bloody hate them. So I am going to aim to draw/sketch/enjoy one thing a week if I can, or something every two and hopefully get back into things. That way I might slowly improve.

As for tips i could totally randomly give you some because i love to do that kinda shit, maybe it's just been resized, but if you're saving as Jpeg maybe switch to something else? Sadly as we know you lose quality nd it makes things no s sharp as they could be ;v;
still so good tho and i actually quite like your sketchy lines? And it's a good style, love to see you build on that and keep evolving it - refined sketch lines ect as line art is always very ~cool, hehe c:

He was like, one of my first characters ever.
I just need to stop trying to do what other people do and just draw comfortably until I find a style which works. If you know what I mean.
