This could be considered a WIP still.... I haven't run this by Inoshi yet, so I'm hesitating to call this finished.
HOLY CRAP INNER UNIVERSE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG EVER. Seriously, that is what started the whole thing. During last weekend's convention's masquerade, there was a Ghost in the Shell walk-on, and the song Inner Universe was playing. Thank God Inoshi knew the name of the song, so I was able to look it up and become addicted to it. 8D Haven't actually watched Ghost in the Shell yet, but I probably will if the opening theme alone has such an effect on me.
Uh... BACKGROUND. FINALLY!
Inoshi's training has finally sunken in some more, and I managed to work a background in! Which, not at all surprisingly, made coloring the picture a heck of a lot easier. Why it took me so long to figure that out... Annnnd I really have nothing more to say. 8D Enjoy my not-Bleach-fanart!

I love this. Motoko looks amazing, and I find the background helps draw the focus in more towards her, but thats just me

That's definitely some nice work you've done so far.
I recommend you watch all of GitS, especially the second movie (wow, is it good!). Just watch everything, and then you don't have to worry about missing out on anything.
And dang it, Inner Universe is definitely some kind of sticky song. A friend of mine played it about...what...two years ago? The song kept going around my head, so I searched on YouTube and listened to it for ages. Then I kinda forgot about it, and about a year and a half later I thought about the song again. So I went to YouTube, listened to it again (after spending a few minutes trying to remember the name), and thought, "What the heck. I'll just watch it."
Naturally, I've been hooked on the series ever since. All because of "Inner Universe"! DX

I've tried watching it a few times now, but Youtube only has short previews, so I'll have to look elsewhere (now that I understand the wonder of Veoh, I'll probably look there now @_@).

Inner Universe is an expensive song! @_@ I got the CD box thing (I have to wait until Christmas to get it from my parents, though, but it's safe in my house!), and I still want to get some other GitS stuff. Whee~!

XD Veoh's become a loyal friend to me, though it took it a while to become that. The quality is so much better than Youtube. 
Does it come with other songs on the CD, or is it just a single? O.o

Youtube does have some high-quality vids now, though. So YT is improving.
Oh, there are other songs on the CD. It's just that if it hadn't been for that darn song, I wouldn't be spending money on GitS stuff...

Ohhh, GitS is one of my all time favorite animes ever. I definitely recommend it to you if you haven't seen it yet, especially the second movie. Gosh, this makes me want to go watch it now.
And isn't that song just beautiful! I could listen to it all day....
Anyways, great work! I definitely see improvement in your abilities! I especially love the color-- maybe I need to get Inoshi to train me too!
