The image in BW makes me think about the need for conscious consumption ... avoiding waste. After all the capitalist logic makes modern world have many deficits and excesses.

"deficits and excesses" does corruption and greed count? Those are the only things wrong with capitalism...well actually it's not those things, it is people that are selfish and feel privileged that ruin everything, even capitalism. Adam Smith is rolling over in his grave...ceaselessly.

Of course, selfish are always the others ... Perhaps one of our options is to "try" identify (and exploit) the loopholes and contradictions of capitalism ... A little utopian, but building more critical dreams is also an opportunity to exercise the potential of our future.
