Hey everyone, I just put up a new video on how to create physically accurate perspective grids in 2 minutes or less. A lot of people, including myself, tend to just eyeball it or make a best guess, but with these methods you can make them accurate to camera with very little effort. Enjoy!

It's a nice program but a good understanding is always best, I feel.  Koo tho.

A good understanding is definitely best, I would never make an argument for using these techniques INSTEAD of learning perspective, but it's a nice trick even for people who do understand it. Once you know how it works and how to do it manually, there's no need to set it up every time like that if there are faster ways.

technically speaking, a geometric object that uses rectangles, are called cuboids. Cubes being made of squares on all three axes.

I had a couple of perspective graphs from years ago, but over time, lost them. This will help out nicely. thanks.

If you're using Photoshop CS6 or CC, make sure you're putting it in the 64-bit Photoshop folder for the panels, if that's the version you're using. If it's still not working, make sure you're copying everything in the zip directly into the folder. There should be a folder and some various files, don't put them into another folder to consolidate them, just drop them in as is. Also double check you're putting the panels version into proper folder and not accidentally installing the scripts version.

If you're by chance running CS5, from what I've read, only the scripts version works. All the same options, but you have to access them from the scripts drop down menu instead of the panel. Best of luck!

Cheers.
Used to put down grids in Maya for this purpose, but this seems way more convenient.
