In my experience, it works very well. It does make it hard to fully expand your lungs, but I imagine that could be fixed by holding in a deep breath as you wrap it around. And also you should wear something under the tape so it doesn't damage your skin.
Takes a while to get the hang of where to tape for ultimate flatness.

I think that one is made from upholstry fabric...but the rest of us have just used a double layer of regular woven cotton that also works quite fine.

I've been trying to find a fabric that works well for a binder, but so far nothing has worked well.

Well with that kind of closuer, woven is better. I think it kills your ribs less than a tensor bandage too.

It works pretty well, especially if the sports bra is a size too small.

Be careful, though. Duct tape is not flexible and does not move with your ribs the way cloth binders do, so if you wrap too tight you can severely damage your ribs and your lungs.

The last one is a custom design, made with fabric and closed with bra clasps. It works well, and is a lot less painful than the other two!

Well my bro came up with the idea, and all of us kinda worked on that. I'd love to see if you could turn it into something like that!
We used woven fabric so that it would flatten, but not constrict in the way that tensor bands do.
