This looks really pretty! Did you ever wind up finishing it?
It reminds me of clouds in the gray sky, maybe the gray is symbolic of hard times ahead or in the past and the clouds are rippling through to remind us that nothing terrible (or good) lasts forever. That life is merely made up of fleeting moments, ever changing instances. Or maybe they are flowers and not clouds at all.
I like the transition of color you have from the blues to the gray. Very nicely done.
