Anywho~ Reaction to my latest flash animation was awesome! ^^ Made me feel so happy :3 (thanks guys! ^^
) I was so happy, I decided to make another paper tutorial as I promised >8DI folded these flowers since I was in 5th grade, so it's been a while. ^^ Stuck in a long drive? Waiting in line for something? Why not fold one of these suckers and amaze the jellybeans outta your friends >:0
I don't know why but these flowers never ceased to amaze my friends of all ages o_o;; (or maybe I hang out with strange people... )

i used to know how to make a flower similar to that, but i forgot.XD;;;
now i have the urge to pick up some origami paper and start folding!XD
i even used to make origami during classes in elementary school.OTLlol(and draw)
sometimes i find it easier for me to follow picture directions even without the words. sometimes the words confuse me even more!

I got this origami book from China when I was small, and since my fingers were stronger, my brother made me make all these random animals and flowers, his favorite flower was this one (i think the book called it a violet, but I'm not sure).
But sometimes I got lazy and didn't curl in the petals, and then the flower turned out all jaggedy... and pointy... and ugly... and then my brother would hit me ._.;;
The tutorial might have been easier to understand if you had used a piece of paper with different solid colors on each side. The yellow border with the white center sort of made it look like it was folded at certain points when it wasn't.
Arrows would really help too, I can't read my origami book anymore, but it's full of arrows so I can still make stuff :>

Haha really? My brother and I used to fold tons of these too! XD My dad bought us origami books and origami papers and we would just spend the whole afternoon folding and folding ^__^ ...although idk D; my brother didn't hit me for messing up :[
I actually thought about that because I actually have one sheet of origami paper that was different color sided, but it would have been more confusing since at the repetitive stage you wouldn't really be able to tell which new side I was working on or if it was another side at all D; Bu I get you : p

lol, it really didn't hurt that much, my brother couldn't even really crease paper well at that time, he was only three or so. It felt more like light whack, but now he's more irratable... and prone to hitting people... harder... >.0;;
then you could number the sides 8D for teaching purposes, or draw little patterns on it so it won't look so fugly :3
