lol I know how that feels. You work and work and work and then get used to it, and it doesn't look quite right at that point. But trust me - this is astonishingly good work!

May I share some of these on Tumblr and other social media sites (such as facebook and twitter), then? Just to keep people pumped up for the project. And - of course - you will be properly credited and get links back to these DeviantART pages.

Also, I think I royally screwed up requesting submissions to the group folders, so sorry if there are a few repeats there, lol

Okie dokie! Well, I have a few options open for you, to tell you the truth, lol.

You could do some more rooms in ZIM's base, or go on to doing the Irken city. Either way works for me. Which should I prep for you?

The rough concepts exist for one of the city shots, which should give you a good idea for the way the rest will be set up (and I can even explain how I came up with their designs), and ZIM's various base shots consist of stills taken from the show which may be used as roughs.

Oh, and for the shapes, I basically made it regular human skyscraper shapes for the basic construction work (so, mostly rectangular prisms), then I rounded off the edges (since Irkens hardly have any points in their architecture at all, except for details) and filled up the rectangular space with a random assortment of shapes, like tetris with rounded rectangles and a lot more twists, curves, and bends (and gaps in the "rectangle" where the joints/segments of each building (if it has joints/segments) don't quite touch or connect, as sometimes they don't). Did that help make sense at all? lol
