XD I love how it turned out.
I used this "cold" setting on Lightroom & it de-saturates anything that isn't blue, which made his keyboard stand out.

I swear I saw those same shoes in there.

XD I think he wanted to get rid of his "I shop at Hot Topic" clothes.
He wanted to be cooler than that.
(@_@ OMGG... That reminded me... I saw shoes like Curtis' in one of my favourite stores... && I REALLY hope they're still in stock. -loll... It's a frigging costume/trick shop... but it's so awesome there.-)

There probably is a store like that around where you are, it's just hiding!

IDK... Like... Eddies is practically an ancient store by now, it's only like 20 minutes from my house, and I didn't really find it until a couple years ago on a school field trip.

Ralph-xx In reply to PockyNightmare [2009-05-26 13:58:22 +0000 UTC]
Yea. Half the time it's the places that don't stand out that are wicked awesome.
(...even though... Eddies sort of should stand out. XD They've got giant puppets, masks, and costumes in their front window.)

I see that this was before he sold those shoes (RIP Awesome shoes)

XD I realized... Eric never ONCE looked at the crowd.
He looked at his keyboard, at the floor/his feet, at Curtis, at Victor, at the ceiling, both the disco balls, and occasionally at the back wall. He NEVERRRR looked at anyone else.
&& then he hid after the show. I wanted to give him a hug, but my dad wouldn't stop pestering me about how it was 11:30 p.m. on a school night.
It's not like I go to sleep before midnight, anyway. o_O

BrokenHeartTheory In reply to Ralph-xx [2008-10-05 02:14:06 +0000 UTC]
He usually doesn't.
Though he'll look at me occassionally, and raise an eyebrow when I do something weird, like point at him when Curtis says his name in A Gorey Demise.
D:
I somehow have awesome Erik-seeking powers. I found him hiding at The Whiskey and started talking about random things... "Is your eyeliner REALLY tattooed on?" "You know, I've already answered that."
heh, we had the same problem, except it was... almost 2 AM.

Curtis was like "If you can wait like 5 minutes... He's just helping pack up some stuff." But my dad wouldn't stop being all up in the way. >___> I'm like... really OCD about taking my own pictures && he wouldn't stop patronizing me until I gave him my camera. I'm pretty sure I said something like "FINE! TAKE IT! JUST SHUT UP! PLEASE!!" (After saying "No, I'm fine." "I got it." "I don't need you to take it." etc... I was really pissed.)
XD I could see Erik, but he was behind a lot of boxes, behind the stage. (Like... 5 feet away from where I met Benny Normal. XD)
ROFLLL niiice. The bouncers at The Masq kind of suck. They kick everyone out by midnight. (although... it is in the srs ghetto, so it can be really dangerous at night. -...&& in the day. My friends and I got chased by a crack addict or something trying to get some cash, but he stopped chasing us once we got to the venue with all the people who could beat him up.-)

BrokenHeartTheory In reply to Ralph-xx [2008-10-05 04:36:05 +0000 UTC]
Oh dear.
We actually did get kicked out of The Whiskey around midnight, we just hung out with Curtis and Erik for two hours outside the venue. XD
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Ralph-xx In reply to BrokenHeartTheory [2008-10-09 02:30:26 +0000 UTC]
D: At The Masq, they were like "DAMN KIDS GET OFF OUR DAMN LAWN!!! RAWRRAWRRAWR!!!"
Not cool.
(@_@ OMG. That just made me think of my dad. He tried to park in the front area of the venue, where the bands park && I was like "...Dad. This isn't the parking lot. We're going to get kicked out. >___>" -gets told off by venue guys for parking there- "yeah. I totally didn't tell you we couldn't park here. I mean, I've only been here like 5 times. What would I know?")

Awww.
(Heh, yeah... >_< We parked behind the club in this nice little parking lot, right by their van)(Well, not RIGHT by, but somewhere close)

I wish we had one of those!
Ours is in the ghettooo. Like.... SERIOUS GHETTO.
Across the street is like... a shitty building with broken windows && run down housing where the crackheads hang out, on one side is a bridge && the other side is the parking lot (a.k.a. a fenced in area of asphalt that looks like the Hulk was trying to play hop scotch in. :/)

Well, The Whiskey A Go Go is kind of awesome.
The Satyricon, which is where I first saw them (in Portland), was REALLY iffy... It kinda scared me.

That's pretty much how the Masq is.
@_@ I've realized... They have a lot of concerts in the ghettos around here. My 2 favourite venues I've been to are The Variety Playhouse && The Masquerade... && they're both in ghettooooos.

I think that's just where clubs end up being.
I need to check out where Slim's is...

Ralph-xx In reply to BrokenHeartTheory [2008-10-30 01:55:35 +0000 UTC]
D: WTF. Like... the ONE time there's a concert REALLLLLLLLLY close to my house, like 15 minutes away, it's an 18+ show. WTF.
Retard-O-Bot was playing in the Square in some club or something... And... I had no idea there was even a club in the square. o_O They have all of these cute little shops (cafes, antique shops, a trick/costume shop-ILOVETHATSTOREOMG-, an art museum, a mini used-car lot just stuff like that) and a club is like... the last thing I'd think of.

Awww, I hate it when that happens.
(...not that it ever happens to me, being so far away from where bands GO all the time)
Though there was that one time AFI came to Medford...
That was awesome.
