Because Christians seem to be the worst. Though I will admit, I don't like the JW religion. I really don't know about Orthodox so I can't answer.

maybe you met baptists, who are actually heretics. Real God would never say "kill this" or "burn that". Just take a look on Orthodox church, it's not as bad as baptist one.
