They arrived.

Nothing we did -nothing could stop them.

Minds became twisted, our minds...were not our own anymore.

Blood turned against blood, brother against brother -spilling each other's blood.

Within a day, the US fell.

There were no warning, no time, no where to hide.

People fled in a desperate attempt to escape the darkness but inevitably, they fell to each other, minds twisted, for them.

Them.

The Gods, as people started calling them.

What remained, the survivors of the Bleeding, was 'chosen'
to make others bleed as the Gods expanded their conquest.
Minds gripped in a hand from another world, twisted more...and more.

But.

Where there is darkness, there is light...

Im trying to teach myself how to use layers(GASP -Yes i know)

The above written is still a wip so ill explain briefly. i wondered, why would aliens try to invade using an invasion force? why not use humanity's power against itself? So this idea was born. more on this later...maybe...hopefully...ugh.

I apologise for the lack of replies and art checking, im trying. Please have patience with me.

Oh and the Fireman? Uhm he's not coming to pull you out of the fire, just so u know...
