And now lackluster cashier guy is stuck with the problem of how to handle this...pocket the ten for his trouble and hope no one notices the missing meds? Ring it in and explain to his boss a guy robbed them for halfΒ the bottle's worth of pills? Call the cops and explain it to them? Unless you have cameras good enough to catch that bill getting laid down (many stores sadly don't), you're gonna have a hard time convincing people of the 'good hearted shotgun thief who was just short on cash and needed his meds'.
