I've heard it said that pigs' eyes are "eerily human." Though this eye is not open to reveal the visible sclera, rounded pupil, and golden-brown iris that is indeed very human in appearence, I thought the eyelashes on this pig were remarkably human-like, as was the relaxed set of the eyelid while sleeping. Overally, even if you don't see the "humanity" in it, you have to admit - those are some adorable lashes.Related content

Good picture, really good quality. I would suggest cropping it closer to the eye for a more dramatic effect, as when you just look at the eyelid and the lashes it's hard to tell if it's a hairy human or some kinda crazy animal. Still good though.

::nods:: I'm thinking of doing a second version that is just a close-up of the eye area, just because the focus and lighting are good enough that it would be a shame to not do a close-up. The main reason it isn't cropped was that I wanted people to see that very human-like eye and eyelashes, but also that this is in fact an animal.

Even without the cropping the mixture between the animal and human features is quite good.
