I had this shot sitting around in a folder not getting much attention because the butterfly itself was not horribly impressive compared to some of the brighter specimins. But then I looked at it closer and realized it had these stunning green eyes that were almost the same color as the moss it was sitting on. And so here it is.Related content

Subtle and lovely...I love it. There's some very artistic emotions in this one.
This would be another that might be even more powerful with some creative cropping.

Thanks ^^ It actually is cropped to an extent; it used to be a whole lot more empty space all around. I wanted to get a bit of the light and shadowed sections of the moss, and fill most of the pic with the butterfly. It looks better than the origional, but I might play with it some more.
