1. Keep drawing women!!
2. Remember, when dealing with female anatomy, the hips are as wide as or wider than the shoulders. Unless this pic is a matter of preference rather than anatomical precision. In which case, forget what I just said...

As far as the anatomy, as a general rule of thumb, you are correct - but as in everyday life, this is not always the case - all people are "built" different. Not all women are Victoria Secret Models, nor are the men Chip-n-dale Dancers - the body types are quite diverse.

i found myself sketching today in a "gasp" traditional comic book style like you might find in a greenlantern or superman comic haha, i gripped my hand and thought "dare i sell out for cash"
