Description

Self-righteous and bold, Itosa finds pleasure in his role as a Shadow Clan bounty hunter for its thrill and rewards. He has been apart of their ranks since he was a teenager and has contributed his stealth and swiftness in exchange for riches. Prior to meeting his mate, Satsuji and adopting his daughter, Shinya, he cared for the riches only out of greed and pride, but now his focus is on providing for them. He cares the world about them and would do anything to protect them. He is a very determined individual, constantly seeking to prove his strength and abilities due to his difficult childhood. During a fight he enjoys mouthing his opponents with playful insults and taunts, not only to see their reactions, but to hinder them in battle and make them more sloppy. He isn't a very group-oriented wolf, focused more so on being his own boss and having control. Since he has had the responsibility of working together with other bounty hunters and assassins, he struggles to grasp the ideology of cooperation. As time has gone on, it is easier for him to work in a group, but he still attempts to be the one with the most authority and the "correct" idea. He prides himself in his excess of melanin, giving his pelt a darker hue and his eyes a piercing light green. It allows him to excel better in the cover of darkness and gives him heightened stealth. Among some individuals of the Shadow Clans, he is known as the "Panther" for his elusiveness, feline-like mannerisms, and melanistic mutation.

The dude in green 'n scars! He's one of my oldest AzureHowl fan characters, and has gone under a bit of a redesign with the reboot. Rather than just being a standard AzureHowl wolf with scars, now he's a standard AzureHowl wolf with scars and melanism! I kept his bigger scars to call back to his old design but I didn't include all of them because I didn't want to make his design too cluttered. I really love this ol' guy and I'm excited to start drawing him again!
