*Edit* removed the winter version of the greater, re-vamped the greater
Playing with some more creature designs for my head stuff (the others are in scraps). My sister quite rightly pointed out that I could have giant murder bird dinosaurs... and little murder bird dinosaurs. I gave them a longer tail to get the look I wanted and altered the pubis to accommodate it.
These guys would be called Cockatrice by the world inhabitants. I plan on making more but for now I only have the Lesser and Greater Cockatrice. The greater were based on the prairie chicken. The lesser were mostly made up, they’re horrible little pack hunters and wander about in groups of five or more basically looking to ruin someones day.

The pair don’t live in the same region, I’ve just used the same background for both. The lesser live in warmer climates while the greater live up north where the temperature differences are more extreme. Luckily for Kotsu he lives near the lesser and not the greater.

Messy sketches are my new favourite thing.

Made myself a signature after years and years, seen a lot of nice plain ones in black and white so I figured I’d try it out. Nothing amazing but it does it’s job.
