This is the fifth and (at the moment) final design for my Digimon Partner Challenge in which I designed my own Digimon named Rufflemon and his forms.

This is Rufflemon`s Mega Level form: Zerumon

Some of my markers ran out when creating this piece, such as the lime Gren marker I used to colour the background.

I still really love this design and think it wraps up the Rufflemon line pretty well, here`s the info for the Mega Level.

Name: Zerumon - Zerumon`s Name is derived from the name "Zeru", a Male name of Basque Origin meaning "Sky".
Title: Stormbringer

Classification: Tempest Knight Digimon
Data Size: 30GB

Family: Wind Guardians, Virus Busters, Dragon`s Roar.

Attacks:

Ultimate Attack - Lightning Tempest - Summons a Lightning Storm and draws the Lightning into his hands, then unleashes this energy as a Devastating shockwave.

Stormforth Sword - Attacks using his trusted Sword, usually electricity courses through the blade but not always.
Lightning Sprint - Moves at tremendous speeds for some close range attacks, almost impossible to keep track of his movements.
Mineral Cape - Defends himself and others using his cape, the lining of his cape is covered in a mineral which is now solid enough to protect from other Mega Level Digimon Attacks.
Solemn Thunder Strike - Summons a Lightning storm and sends numerous streams of Lightning raining down towards the opponent.
Howling Wind - Unleashes a strong windstorm against his opponent.

Possible Previous Forms: Tempestdramon (Natural), Rufflemon (Natural/Warp Digivolve), Aeroveedramon, Garudamon, Wargrowlmon (Data), Metalgreymon (Vaccine), Wingdramon, Majiramon, Triceramon

Slide Evolution: Malziramon

Zerumon is a Mega Level Digimon and is a member of the Firma Three, alongside Naiadmon and Highlamon, The Firma Three are protectors within the Digital World each representing one of the Land, Sea and Sky. Zerumon represents the Sky.

Zerumon is the final form for the Rufflemon Evolution Line and it is said that Tempestdramon Digivolved to this form after learning to control his immense power, he has also since been dubbed the title of "Stormbringer".

Zerumon has the ability to summon storms and to sense future changes in the weather as well as control it using his sword "Stormforth". This Digimon is seen as a hero in the Digital World, he protects weaker Digimon from danger as well as offers training for Digimon who wish to become stronger, specifically on how to control their newfound power when they Digivolve beyond the Champion level. The Scales have grown across his body and serves almost like a protective armor similar to, though not as strong as, Chrome Digizoid: the mineral is strong enough to withstand powerful attacks from other Mega Digimon. The Cape he wears is also outlined with this mineral so sneak attacks from behind will seldom succeed.

The Challenge:

I decided to create a Digimon evolution line, starting with rough sketches with the aim to draw & colour each of my personal Digimon`s forms.

This is the chain of command for my designs and the progression of this character`s evolution, I plan to draw an illustration for each of the following stages for this current challenge:

Baby > In-Training > Rookie > Champion > Ultimate > Mega.

There are other possible forms a Digimon can take but for my challenge I`m drawing this line only to keep things simple..er.

If there are any other Digimon fans out there who want to give this challenge a shot then go for it, I look forward to seeing designs that other people come up with.
