My dog Toki....And my very first picture on canvas (Yes, in my life. Never done before).
As well as my first attempt to capture a motive in a more or less photorealistic way with paint (Hooray!) - though the motive was already captured. I "eyeballed" it from a photo (is it called like that? It's very rare for me to portray something from "reality"...).
Portraying an actual moving dog would be impossible for me
Acrylics on canvas, approx. 24 x 30 cm.

I put it on the wall in my flat and some relatives visiting already thought the same and asked me whether I made it myself or if it was done by a photographer
It makes me very happy that it came out that well.

Yes, I intend to. Maybe I'll offer animalportraits at the local vets.
Well, I don't know yet how much I really will be "experimenting" with it. The thing is it is very exhausting and a bit boring to do. The final outcome might be pretty but the "execution" is - for me - a little torture
