What started as a goofy, off-hand sketch of a female Mario holding a fire flower turned into a week of late nights and pyramids of empty pop cans.For my first serious attempt at a full digital painting, all I can say is that I had fun, I learned a lot, and I'm mostly satisfied with the result.

It's really cool. I love how the fire flowers are growing out of the hit ? block like a planter. And the parakoopas are adooorable. I'd tie my shoes if I had to do as much running around and jumping as her though, especially when I'm that high up in the sky, lol.
