This render had a gaping hole I had to fill pixel-by-pixel in Microsoft Paint...

Parameters from July 4th...because that's how long my render backlog is right now. This is the first in a series of splits-elliptic experiments...followed by a series of glitch-style experiments...followed by a series of 3D bloom experiments...followed by some rings2/julian experiments...all of which will probably be submitted months after they were originally designed. It's honestly a bit frustrating, but I suppose it's a good problem to have.
