I've always been one for ridiculously long renders, and the lack of a secondary rendering computer is starting to exact its toll. That is to say, I am absurdly behind on renders. The parameters for this fractal alone are 19 days old, and currently my render backlog is 23 fractals long. (and still growing steadily!
)Additionally, some of my watchers may wonder why some time ago I posted a journal about my new camera and promised photographs, but have yet to post any. Well, I assure you I have been taking pictures: I just don't have any way to read the SD card yet.
Shortly I'll have an SD card reader and the flood of photographs will begin.So, in short, you'll probably be hearing from me a lot the next few months. I hope you don't mind.
An Apophysis 7x fractal. As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

All of your works have such a magical feel to them, and this one is no exception. The raindrops look so shimmery and sparkly, and enchanting. And as I always mention, I love the colors you used here. The green is such a pretty shade. Interesting concept too.

I delight in long renders.
And I know the feeling of being "behind". I have a long stack too, but it's longer than 25. I don't render much since I'm afraid of burning up my PC. Did that once.
Excellent work, and yet very simple. I like how you used the black background as part of the shape - no need to "fill in" as much.
