Description
Featured in Poca2hontas February Feature .Just a small, slightly minimalist bloom experiment: pre_spherical/ngon and wedge linked transforms to distort the petals. Sorry it's not quite my normal 2:1 resolution of 4000 x 2000...I cropped it to 3472 x 1736 after the render rather than change the camera settings and redo a very lengthy render.
An Apophysis 7x fractal. As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

An intriguing experiment; such a minimalist structure is uncommon with blooms of this sort, though I think you did excellently with it.
