Description
On the sixth week of encountering no humans at all, I fell on my knees and begged for a miracle. Tears burst out of my eyes, completely distorting my vision to an unrecognizable blur.I was blinded by a sudden flash of light, and a squeaky voice spoke to me from above “Well, I'm here. What's your second wish?”
Quickly, wiping the tears away, I got on my feet, and before me stood the most adorable woman. Pulling my pockets inside out I asked her “Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the ears?”

The setting is just gorgeous!
She looks like she's mad at you. LOL Great picture, though.

sorry
Others have said the same thing, that the woman distracts. Maybe its because she looks superimposed, which I swear she's not. To me, she is what makes the image balance. Without her, it would be just a beach with fancy colors..
Thanks for your input mate

haha, i didn't get your words first. but then i understood, and i thought. what the heck? and i understood this was a joke. or something.
lol. you scared me for some seconds there.
and yeah, i think it's a beautiful nature scene there, it's great you find her perfect for the photo. i just don't like her expression, her pose is great though. but still, we all have our own opinions for art and mine about this is that i'd like it with just the nature herself, in the photo.
keep up the kick-ass work!

do you really live on earth `?
the places you chose (find) are simply the best for these photos.
i really ask myself where you find these ?
it's like on a different planet
i loke her expression and the cloths she's wearing.. fits perfectly to the picture.

thanks for your wonderful comment. Its really just an ordinary beach. This particular day just had great light. The colors have been tweaked in photoshop, her expression was also altered in photoshop (with liquify). Simple stuff, but its my favorite of my own shots at the moment, because I find it humorous, in contrast to all my dark depressive crap. I'm really glad you liked it too!

dark is being used too often these days, depressisve as well.
but this shows that you're special, because you really achieve unique dark photos, and that's why i respect you !
i think it's a hard thing to work with clichés but make them looks so awesome like you do.
well. i also tried to work with everyday stuff, like escalators and water..
and.. it is truly some shot that makes you smile.. just for a second, but that's enogh for me, hehe.
photoshop.. i should begin to work with it.. it can produce awesome stuff.. as i can see here !
hehe.

Another amazing picture. The location looks very, very familiar to me. Is that Montana de Oro? Probably not, it's a bit too wild but it has similar sand dunes and a beautiful ocean. At first I had a hard time figuring out what the ground was, but at closer inspection it's the sand! Bravo!

thanks for your nice comment Its not Montana de Oro (whereever that is
). Its a beach called 'kandestederne' far to the north in my country (Denmark). It streches unbroken for 15 km's further north and about 30 km's further south. One of the roughest beaches I know, several people drown here every year cuz of the wicked undertoe.

Woo! Denmark! I was way off. Montana de Ora is in central California in the United States. Beautiful place, but the ocean is filled with jagged rocks so we go for the sand dunes.

This is a picture I could quite happily look at all night, and probably till the morning. It is SO beautiful. The reflections are just amazing. excellent composition/crop. I really like the moody expression on her face, and the pose of course.
Wonderful job Lars

You're photography is definately some of the most beautiful and delicate around these parts of deviantART. The soft colours in your photography really grabs me.
Some trully beautiful reflections and clouds in this shot.

she is quite adorable. especially with the look. and compared to your other whimsical subject, this would probably not have worked in the environment if it were not for her tough attitude and spunk. great shot.

Lars, you are master of the surreal. Amazing photograph, and, it seems unusual for your work as of late, it's not monochrome. The dark tones and colors all really work well here to create a dramatic landscape and portrait. Actually, this would make an excellent landscape without the model, so much so that if it wasn't for her interesting expression she might be overpowered by her background. All in all, absolutely wicked shot m8, gotta love the fade to black at the bottom.
