This drawing really hits home to me, because this is one of the closest things Edd and I happen to have in common. Thank you for drawing this.

Great picture of Edd...it seems to shatter his "most mature of the Eds" label. It shows that deep down, despite his intelligence, vocabulary, etc., he is ultimately a very lonely, vulnerable child (the impression I get anyway). Plus, thinking of all the little hints throughout the show about the pressures he faces due to his parents not being around really adds to the overall mood. In fact, it's kind of frightening to think of how he'd be without Ed and Eddy there for him - they're probably his only opportunity to experience anything resembling a childhood.
Anyway, sorry about the long post - I'm in one of those 'venting moods'. I really love your artwork, by the way.
