MM1's, Iceman. Drawn in MS Paint, using my new tablet.This entire design variant was created by ~Tom-One . I was never a big fan of Ice myself, but after seeing his variant, my opinion was completely changed.
Like with Elec, no forced perspective here. While it would have worked for the feel, I kinda figured that Ice was small enough as is...he didn't need any forced views to make him look even smaller.

My god, that is unreasonably awesome! I...I'm in shock at the sheer awesomeness. To think, I never liked Ice Man in the first place.
Anyhoo, I can see the Toa resemblance as well, but with Ice Man, it works. I tell ya, the bot makes Jason Voorhees look like a re tarted sissy with a nerf bat...yea...

He's very scary, now... I think I mentioned it to you before, and I always felt the RMs had their natural powers boosted, or their safties disengaged, to make them more deadly than the average bot on the street...
and Iceman here emulated that magnificently. It's like his frost powers are on the verge of overwhelming him... he looks so COLD.

I totally agree, I always thought the RMs were too fantastic for even their own time. Their powers are just so raw and without limitation.

Wow, such an awesome job on one of my most favorite Robot Masters. The weapons, mask, and spiked boots give Ice Man a Bionicle-ish feel to me, dunno why. The spiked boots, for some reason, strongly resemble Toa Nuju's spiked feet when he attached his weapons to his leg.

I agree, I love that Bionicle-esque feel that emenates from him. When ~Tom-One originally showed me this variant, I flipped. It was the sweetest Iceman I'd ever seen, and I knew I'd be doing fan art of it sooner or later! X D

Wow. The Iceman Cometh. Kinda looks like one of those Toa characters with a little of John Carpenter's "The Thing" for the way he's dressed. Looks very tribal in a way, like he's some ancient Eskimo guardian spirit or something. And he looks bad-ass. I'm digging those snow crunchers on his feet. They look like they could kill with a simple toe tap.

Ya, I LOVE this variant. I totally owe it all to ~Tom-One ; he's a genious with designs for these guys. If I could, I'd lock him in a closet and make him draw RM variants for me all day. X D
