Das Programm heisst Apophysis und ist Freeware... damit macht man solche Bilder, sogenannte "Fraktale"... google mal danach .

This one looks great to .. as the TdoC III - A Metaphysical Mind does.
I can't say anything bad about it coz it's just perfect.I know how annoying is the copyright thind and the stolen goods over the net but as such details the wrighting in the center just spoils all off.
Still a great piece

Now that is awesome. How do you do that on a computer? I can't even see how you could have just drawn it on the computer and shaded it in. =o *wants to draw like that all of a sudden* xD

It looks so very organic... like new life, growth, a seed waiting to germinate, coiled-up energy about to be released...

A very complex and beautiful piece of work here. I like how the image is mainly in the centre and has all it's negative space around it, it makes it stand out a whole lot more and avoids the image becoming cluttered (which easily happens with this much detail). I really like the spikes and spirals coming off to the sides with this one aswell. It doesn't look organic like some of your other pieces, but more like something from space like a weird kind of nebula or even an unusual space creature.

I'm not sure about the repitition of it... looking at it kind of makes me feel as though I have double vision (although that's probably just a pet peeve of mine having had double vision correction surgery a year ago ) and the image doesn't seem quite definate enough.... yet it is too defined to be 'dream-like'. I'm not to sure.

Out of interest, how does one go about creating a fractal image? I've no idea in the slightest as to how they're created and it might help me with future comments and critiques if I actually had a small idea of the process. And I also might like to try some out myself

good stuff

:the lurk you ordered:
Oh wow, that's beautiful.. It's striking when you first see it, Then you gradually take notice of the smaller sprials and the lighting, it's very.. interesting the way the gold does make a surpisingly soft contrast to the black.

Curiously, this has a seasonal look about it, like some strange and surreal distortion of a tree decoration. I think it's the colours and the shine, but no doubt influenced by temporal proximity
