Description There are two ways to read into this painting. For me, this painting is about trickery and infatuation, not love. The wandering stranger at the ocean’s shore wants to capture the ocean’s mermaid with an offer of love. If you want to think that this is about putting ones heart on the line in an honest way, you are better person than me.

Enjoy.

Coolness, it's a pretty nifty meaning you have to this picture. The idea that he's tricking her is actually there to tell if you think about fishing. You're not trying to get the fish to bite it because you love the fish or anything along that. You're tricking the fish to bite onto the hook. The idea behind this is pretty great, the colors all looks so smooth and a bit choppy. Still lovely though when the pictures comes out so crisp. The way it's pressed against the gradiated border is pretty awesome too. :3

Yup, awesome possums.

lol... the choppy-ness you comment on has to do with my inability to paint well under severe deadlines. this was handed in for a class project and i had a lovely time trying to finish it in time. hehe.

XD The choppyness works though. everyone gets a bit more messy when deadlines are smacking them in the face. Haha

trickery it is, we have one song in Croatia that fisherman sing to the fishes, promising them better, welthy life, and swimming in nice rich fat instead water... it reminded me to that song, but your picture is probably about love trickery. I love your tehnic and colour are so rich and powerfull...
