This is a weird painting I did because I wanted to paint a land of grey. I told my teacher it was an illustration for a Brothers Grimm story, 'Three Black Princesses'. HeHe.Related content

XD It's purple! Kidding.
Nice perspective with this piece. The front statues look great with their texture. The shadows behind them are pretty nifty as well, how they're like monkeys and creeping about. Though, I'm wondering if it's water or air infront of them, I'm going with air just becase there's no reflection; correct me if I'm worng. Nice foreground and dissappearing stones in the background. It's pretty good. ^_^

Totally agree with the purpleness. I wonder if that happened through my scanner.... (cause the original looks slate-grey...) or the fact that when I put these together in a little book (for the class) at the end of the semester I toned everything sepia and now only the purple version exists.. eh..
