Cascadefall's Daughter Tryouts

Cascadefall of WindClan has a reputation among his clan for being a bit of a playboy. He's always had fun not taking things seriously, running amok and living his life to the fullest. In his opinion, that's one of the most important things- enjoying life. Unfortunately, this has given him a lackadasical attitude that does him no favors among most of his clanmates, at best earning him a pointless fling and at worst gaining him the annoyance of whoever he is around. Eventually, his fun seeking landed him into a boatload of trouble and ultimately a bit of a predicament.

A fling of his was Jasmine, the Highlander hybrid kittypet who came with the twolegs over summer... and unbeknownst to him, she had fallen pregnant.

Jasmine gave birth to two hybrid kittens- a special allowance made as they are both biologically Cascadefall's. As soon as they were old enough to travel, they were be brought to WindClan to reside with their father- after all, Jasmine could not keep kits, particularly not purebreds. The two kits were in WindClan from about two weeks old onward.

Cascadefall only found out about his children when Jasmine arrived in WindClan toting them. Their colors and their patterns will made it completely certain the kits belong to him- and really, either way, Cascadefall would have taken them in as his own. As a father, Cascadefall was be a bit of a bumbling mess. He tries his best and above all else he loves both of his children unconditionally, but as for properly raising them it was a bit more up in the air. Cascadefall isn't exactly one for strict rules and true parenting, more so guiding and encouraging autonomy, fun, and self exploration. He's a bit of a big child himself, in the end- his brother Badgerclaws is far more the responsible one. How this has affected his kits is up to the players, and can be developed out in RP- this is more to give a gentle idea of how this will go.

Both kittens were nursed by Pansybee and Dewfall. Cascadefall was punished by Silverstar, losing his warrior name and having to be Cascadepaw until just before his children were apprentices. Luckily, however, it just gave him extra time to be with his family. This tryout is for his daughter, previously named Aurorapool (though this can change). She and her brother Rimeripple were raised in tandem by Cascadefall, Badgerclaws, and Geckoskip- with occasional visitation from their other younger uncle Flurryheart, and great grandfather, Sleepypurr!

His daughter was trained by Crowtail, and is currently 15 moons old!

Tryouts for this character is open to both members and non-members looking to join FoW, but you may not have two hybrid characters- meaning if you already play one, you cannot tryout for her!

This character MUST be DFAB- however, she may identify however you wish! The way he raised her was slightly different from her brother! Cascadefall wasn't exactly raised in a traditional family, and he has plenty of strong female friends and does respect mollies in his own way, but he was far more worried and protective of his daughter than he was with his son. He didn't want them ending up like his mother or his half-brother's mother, both of whom were single mothers who passed away before their kits were warriors. He fussed over her constantly.

Her name is entirely up to the new player! However, if you're looking for suggestions, Cascadefall may named her any of the following things: Snowkit after his mother, or something similar and relating to cold/snow (Icekit, Frostkit, Rimekit, Frozenkit, Coldkit, etc). He may have named her simplistically after her colorations in general (Brownkit, Creamkit, Tankit, Whitekit). Finally, he may have named her after simple things she resembles- for her, the brown kitten, (Mudkit, Dustkit, Sparrowkit, etc). However, any and all names will be accepted with proper reasoning! You may also choose to keep the current name she has: Aurorapool, or either part of it!

Personality wise, it is most likely that because she was mostly being raised almost solely by Cascadefall, that she will have inherited some of his main traits. The biggest things that are most unlikely are for her to be particularly shy, anxious, nervous, antisocial, angry, or cruel. She is most likely to inherit the following traits; Sociable, Energetic, Dramatic, Charming, Self Absorbed/Egotistical, and Impulsive. However, these are just suggestions pulled directly from Cascadefall's own traits- please 100% feel free to change and adapt this to your interests, so long as you avoid most of the unlikely traits everything else is fair game! Even the unlikely things would be accepted with proper explanation and reasoning.

Trait Wise, she has Bobbed Tails and Curled Ears in addition to her hybrid size. As an adult, she dwarfs most of WindClan, including her dad.

Relationships wise, apart from Cascadefall being her father, has the following connections: Rimeripple is her brother, Flurryheart is her biological half-uncle, Badgerclaws is her biological uncle, Geckoskip is an aunt figure, and Sleepypurr is her great-grandfather. Additionally, in RiverClan, she has her half-sister Mudlark , a Highlander hybrid just like herself! Furthermore, she was nursed by Dewfall and Pansybee and may view them as aunt figures as well!

As for Mudlark and them, she is old enough to remember her siblings from when they were born before she was left with ThunderClan. If they ever meet at a gathering, she would most certainly recognize them and maybe approach them- and in turn, these babies would see their kinship with her in their bobbed tails and curled ears! Spice can ensue from the disconnect between their clans and their blood relationship if wished... perhaps friendships can be kept up all the same! However, I encourage you to chat with Hovnds about this in more detail before including it in any history.

- Again, while she is allowed to have some conflict within her family, we ask that she does not permanently lose contact/hate them! If you wish for a temporary hitch in their relationships, I will ask for a game plan to reestablish them as close family members so that we know where things will go from that point forward!
